Whichever one you already read. BibleRing ships no scripture text — it keeps the record of which chapters you have read, in the canon you choose: Protestant (66 books), Catholic (73), With Apocrypha (76), Orthodox (78) or Ethiopian (80). You can switch canon at any time without losing a chapter.

Yes. Onboarding asks “I’ve read some of this before”, and you can mark whole books or chapters as read. Imported chapters count towards the percentage, the ring and what the plan hands out next. They do not count as reading days, so they never invent a streak or a pace.

Tap a chapter on Home’s Today card, a square in a book’s grid, or the plus in the tab bar. A sheet shows the book with its chapters as cells; tap the ones you read, then Log. The next sheet shows what that reading changed. Nothing is written until you confirm.

Yes. The log sheet has the day at its foot — tap it to pick another date. A logged passage can be moved later from the Journey by opening it and changing the date.

Open the passage from Home or the Journey and choose “Take off the record”. A book can be cleared from its own screen. Corrections are quiet: no confirmation ceremony, nothing celebrated, and any seal that only that tap earned is withdrawn.

Start to finish (Genesis through Revelation), Old and New together (a little of each testament most days), In the order written (roughly when each book was composed), or No plan at all. Set a finishing date, a number of minutes a day, or nothing, and the daily target follows.

Nothing. Today’s reading is fixed when the day starts, and a day you skip simply passes. The plan continues from where you actually are, not from where a calendar says you should be. The app never shows a backlog.

The run counts the days you came back. One quiet day never breaks it, and a full week of reading earns that grace back. The morning after a quiet day it is shown standing rather than at zero. The longest run in your history uses the same rule.

From your last 28 days of actual reading, carried forward over the chapters left in your canon. It moves as your pace moves. It is a projection, not a target.

On purpose. The note leads with something true about today — a book this reading closes, a seal it reaches — and never with a number you could lose.

Three Lock Screen widgets (inline, rectangular and circular), Home Screen widgets in small and medium for Up next and for the ring by division, and two Control Center buttons: one that opens the log sheet on today’s passage and a plain plus that opens it empty.

Widgets read a snapshot the app writes when it runs. Open the app once after installing or updating and they fill in. If they stay empty, remove the widget and add it again.

Half an hour before the time you tend to open the app, learned from your last weeks of reading. You can see the time it has settled on in Settings and replace it with one of your own. A reminder is never sent on a day you have already read.

Once iOS has been told no, the switch lives in the Settings app under Notifications. The app’s own switch takes you straight there.

No. Every widget, button and reminder opens the log sheet with the passage already selected. You confirm; nothing is written on your behalf.

Decoration, and only decoration: six painted covers and Minimal, six accents and a custom colour, and five alternate app icons. Every chapter, plan, widget, seal, recap and number is free and stays free. It is one payment, not a subscription.

Open Appearance or Settings and tap Restore. The unlock follows your Apple Account. If a restore finds nothing, check the device is signed in to the same account the purchase was made with.

Three optional amounts, offered only to someone who already holds the unlock and never beside it. They change nothing in the app — except that the largest one turns the supporter heart gold.

Refunds are handled by Apple. Open reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase. If a refund goes through, the app quietly returns to the free look and keeps your chosen cover ready for the next time.

On your device, in the app’s own database. There is no account and nothing is uploaded. If you delete the app, the record goes with it, so back your phone up as you normally would.

A standard iPhone backup or migration carries it over. Cloud sync between devices is not built yet, and it is on the list.

Export is being built and will be free. Getting your own reading record out of the app will never sit behind a purchase.

Anonymous usage counts — which screens open, how often a reading is logged — with nothing you wrote or read: no notes, no book names, no display name. One of the two services runs only after you say yes on the consent sheet; the other keeps no identity and can be switched off in Settings. The details are on the privacy page.

Settings › Data › Erase all reading data removes every entry from the device. The action names the number of entries it will delete and asks first.
